Melanie came to see me at my studio in Jonesboro Arkansas for her milestone session.

There’s something incredibly heartwarming about photographing a little one turning one—especially when they’re as sweet and calm as Melanie. Her session was everything you’d want from a first birthday shoot: simple, fun, and filled with the kind of joy that makes you smile behind the camera the entire time.

From the very beginning, Melanie was an absolute angel. She was happy, curious, and so easygoing, making the whole session feel relaxed and natural. It’s always such a treat when little ones feel right at home in front of the camera, and Melanie gave us so many precious expressions without a single fuss.

Mom kept things beautifully simple for the shoot, and it worked perfectly. No elaborate props or busy backgrounds—just a soft, clean setup and the cutest little outfit you’ve ever seen. It was classic, sweet, and totally let Melanie’s personality shine. That tiny outfit added just the right amount of charm without distracting from her adorable features and bright eyes.
